Business and Service Policies
Access to Property - We usually service our customers from 8AM-5PM, Monday – Friday (Saturday & Sunday by special arrangement only). Given that, there may be times when we will need to access your property when you are not at home. If special access codes or keys are required to gain access, please contact us immediately to make arrangements for our access or to give us the necessary entry codes/keys. If we access gated properties, we will close all gates, etc. upon our departure.
Excessive Waste - When we begin service, an initial assessment will be made of your yard. We reserve the right to charge a One-Time Excessive Waste Fee if the clean-up is excessive and will require more than 20 minutes of work.
Unrestrained Pets - Should we arrive at your property and can not gain access to your property because of a pet, we will leave a notice of our attempted service. We will return to the property when the pet is restrained. You will not be charged for the first unsuccessful service attempt. However, we will charge $10.00 for future unsuccessful services attempts.
Inclement Weather - In the event of inclement weather (thunderstorms, torrential rains and snow/ice), service will not take place on your designated day. However, you will be serviced either 2-3 days before or 2-3 days after the inclement weather. In the case of a storm lasting several days, we will service your yard as soon as we can safely drive and maneuver within your yard.
Excessive Ground Cover - Doodie Free, LLC provides a money-back guarantee on its services. However, if the customer’s property is overgrown with grass, covered with excessive leaves or other ground cover, snow, or excessive debris, Doodie Free, LLC will not honor the guarantee. An additional One-Time Excessive Ground Cover fee may be applied. If the ground cover is not removed prior to subsequent visits, Doodie Free, LLC will charge an Excessive Ground Cover surcharge for services.
Change of Service Date – As our customer base grows, we may change your scheduled date of service to allow for more efficient scheduling within neighborhoods. You will be notified in writing 7 days before the date change if a Change of Service Date is necessary.
Company Unforeseen Emergency Situations - In the event of an emergency and we are unable to service you on your designated day, you will be serviced within the next 2-3 days. You will be notified if your service will be delayed longer than 2-3 days.
Company Holiday Observances - Doodie Free, LLC is closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas. Arrangements can be made for service on the summer holidays (see enclosed rate card for holiday rates).
Company Vacation - Doodie Free, LLC will be closed for one week in the summer. A notice will be provided in your invoice two months prior. Notice of additional closings will be given in your invoice no less than one month prior.
Cancellation Policy – If the client chooses to cancel service, a 30 day notice is requested.
Invoices – Invoices will be sent no later than the 5th of the month following service. Invoices are due upon receipt. Checks should be made payable to: Doodie Free, LLC. Interest charges of 1.5% per month will be charged on accounts not paid within 90 days of the invoice date.
